In tech, and pretty much any career in life, you need a challenge that would shift you forward and help you overcome certain smaller obstacles that may be holding you back, and TGR is the best place for that. If you get through to the final stage, you'll know you're built for more than average, and it informs you vastly on what you are capable of achieving and contributing anywhere you find yourself later in your career.
It's the surest path for working experience. I give it to TGR on this. I was really exposed to what people with 10 years working experience wouldn't know yet. I had to figure out things and think outside the box. Worked with people from different tribes, locations and ideologies. I learned how to manage people and i understood how to manage conflict at work and the steps for documentation. I learned a lot.
I'm currently working on a personal project and TGR helped me recognize my strengths and also my weaknesses. I will tell them it's a platform where they get to apply their skills to solve real life issues, work with professionals from other tracks and also a space to learn some professional skills.
